As with most musicians, B'z have produced music videos to promote their releases on television and later the internet. Early videos by the band revolved around specific locations and themes, with latter entries in the catalogue employing extensive computer-generated imagery. Videos were typically filmed in a 4:3 full-screen aspect ratio prior to the video for "GOLD" in 2001.

Originally, B'z music videos were circulated amongst fans only as recordings from various television airings as the band did not release them on home video. However, beginning with the release of their 47th single in 2009, MY LONELY TOWN, B'z have made available limited editions of each single at release that include bonus DVDs with the accompanying music video. In 2012, the band at last released the bulk of their music video catalogue and in remastered form on their 25th anniversary collections B'z The Best XXV 1988-1998 and B'z The Best XXV 1999-2012. The compilations collected all 50 singles to the date of their release, with the limited editions coming with the bonus DVDs containing videos for all of the contained singles. To promote the release, the band made available clips from all of the videos on their official YouTube channel.

B'z music videos come in several different forms, including:

  • Dedicated videos are those centric on a specific song for their duration and are generally of singles, though not every single had a music video produced. In cases in which those songs required video components in television and video coverage in later years, live performances were often substituted, such as with "ALONE" and its most recognizable performance from "BUZZ!!" THE MOVIE.
  • Album videos are compilation videos created to promote studio albums. For videos promoting their latest album at a given time, the band once often shot specific short videos for several song, resulting in a handful of short videos joined together to make the whole. Naturally, singles' videos already available beforehand are included in clip form.
  • Tie-in videos are those produced as commercials or promotional ventures. These include the band's special Pepsi NEX commercials in 2011 and 2012 as well as the videos that feature footage from video games for which B'z songs served as themes. It bears noting that some videos were given individual dedicated videos in addition to being the subject of commercials in which the band appeared.
